IT/Hardware Service and Support Options
- IT/Hardware Services on a per call basis:
- Server setup's and equipment installations services
- Network Installation and Configuration
- Microsoft Operating Systems (Server and Workstation)
- Network Anti-Virus Protection Applications
- Microsoft SQL 2000/2005 Database applications
- Backup Application's
- Power Protection and Backups
- Sonic-wall Security Appliances, Internet Security, VPN, Content Filters
- Bandwidth Management
- Wireless Access Points and Security
- Network troubleshooting and Maintenance
-All services are available on an hourly basis at $175.00 per service call, plus $175.00 per hour.
-Services are available by appointment only.
-Prices are subject to change without notice.
- IT/Hardware Services on a Contract basis:
Annual Support Contracts for all labor associated with certain IT/Hardware services are available to help customers manage such costs. These contracts cover certain services and exclude others.
Services Covered:
- Troubleshoot Network and Hardware Issues
Such as issues related to network connectivity, backup failure, and data recovery ONLY for the equipment on site at the time of initiation of the contract; For data recovery, client must have a valid backup; it is recommended the client backup their data on a daily basis and verify that the back up has run properly.
- Reloading of Operating Systems and Resetting Network Configuration
This service is used on existing equipment that has been repaired from a hardware failure.
- Annual Network Maintenance
This service includes cleaning out dirt form server and stations towers, updating and verifying all operating systems with Microsoft, updating and verifying proper anti-virus protection with virus protection software vendor (its is the clients responsibility to ensure they keep the virus protection application registered and up to date on an annual basis with the virus protection software vendor), optimizing all server and workstation environments, de-fragmenting drives, cleaning up old files, removal of unnecessary applications, and recommendations for maintaining the network and system upgrades, if requested by the client, and by appointment only.
Services Not covered:
- Replacement and installation of new hardware (expanding your network by adding more workstations will result in an increase in contract fees).
- Virus infections to a network due to lack of proper virus protection.
- Repair of printers, copiers, scanners and all other peripherals.
- Wireless access points and security, unless specified under contract, and only if equipment was installed by Systems West.
- Problems resulting from a third party IT person making any changes to the configuration of the network.
